Lyle Yorks, Ed.D.

 Lyle Yorks is Associate Professor in the Department of Organization and Leadership, Teachers College, Columbia University where he teaches courses in human resource development, strategy development, and research. Lyle also serves on the executive education faculty at L.S.U. Earlier in his career Lyle was a Senior Vice President of Drake Beam Morin, a human resources consulting firm and a Principal of Marshall-Qualtec a consulting firm working in the area of organization restructuring and strategic change. Lyle has also served as visiting faculty in the EMBA program at the University of Tennessee and has been a visiting faculty fellow at Yale University.

Lyle regularly consults with organizations world wide on issues involving learning challenges, including executive development, strategic organizational change, and performance improvement. His current research interests are centered on action learning as a method of executive development and facilitating organizational change, and learning transfer for improved performance.
